I slammed the pen on the table right after signing the paperwork. I looked up and met Arsen’s eyes. His eyes were slightly droopy like my presence was boring him. I frowned deeply at him. I wasn’t boring, he was the one with a problem. He tilted his head to the side and ran his index finger over his bottom lip. His gaze was scrutinizing. It almost felt like he was trying to seek out my soul. I didn’t like the way he was looking at me. It made me mad for some reason. “What are you staring at?.” I spat with irritation.
