“He seemed okay with this situation at least. He could have just decided that it wasn’t worth the trouble of sneaking around and being so limited about where we could go, but he was willing to do this for me. He must really like me if he was willing to wait for me to be free. That thought buoyed my spirits, and I smiled back at him.
