President Martin snapped his head toward Mr. Lowell. He had his eyes wide as he stared at his secretary who just said something so stupid in his ears.
“What did you just say, Secretary Lowell? ‘You can’t do what I just ordered?’” President Martin tilted his head. He walked closer to Mr. Lowell with his head still tilted to the side and his eyes wide. A twisted smile appeared on his face that made him look like the devil.
“I’m quitting as your secretary, President Martin.” Mr. Lowell pulled an envelope from his suit pocket and pushed it to President Martin.
In front of the envelope was written the words ‘RESIGNATION LETTER’. President Martin ripped the envelope and read the letter inside in front of Mr. Lowell. After reading, President Martin’s smile grew wider.
