The camp looked like all the others. It was disgusting to think that so many children’s lives had been ruined by the demons and, more particularly, the demon king. I looked at the team cleaning up after we took over the camp, and we had become better at taking them over.
Fewer demons died in the attacks, which meant we got more information out of them, but I feared that at some point they would get their act together. Someone will become the ruler of the demon kingdom again. They will eventually take back their kingdom and they will … Probably take more kids.
Something that interested me was how many children there were. How did they get away with it for so long without anybody noticing?!
