(11) Feeling Better
THIRD POV
Iona opens her eyes at the feeling of someone shaking her. It’s the first time she ever woke up without feeling exhausted even when she just woke up. She moves to see Synthia standing at the side of her bed.
Right she thought. After the weird thing of her mates touching her yesterday and her bruises healing, she ran away when a second pair of hands touched her back and neck. The sparks overriding her system.
She didn’t realize that Damiano was just behind her in gym class. When she turns to look at the man who hurt her, she bolted and ran as far away as possible and avoided the two as much as she can. She even missed her science class. She couldn’t wait for the day to end and for her, Mirage and Synthia to spend some time.
