**Ethan's POV My wolf ran over the uneven ground, dodging between the trees and ducking beneath branches lined with thorns longer than my thumb in pursuit of the last of the enemy's warriors. Our forces had gotten them on their heels, and we were determined to keep them running until we pushed them back completely.
