It was a little weird, entering the massive 2nd gymnasium in Yoyogi for an actual sporting event. Kai had only been there when it was outfitted for huge, stadium-style concerts. He certainly hoped to play a concert there someday. The fact that Yoshimi was going to be playing ball there today suddenly made her achievement seem all the more immense—which happened to be a fitting word to describe the gymnasium itself. There were definitely perks to being related to the captain of a championship team. Kai’s ticket turned out to be front row in the stands just on the Moon Rabbits’ side of the mid-court area, giving him an unimpeded view. The girls were stretching and warming up, mostly ignoring the slow filling of the stands. Women’s college basketball didn’t have much of a following in Japan
