The family Francisco got home when Kevin excused himself to rest while Jero felt his knees so, he sat down on the couch while Yuki went upstairs anyway.
“Wait a minute, Yuki!" Jen called.
And Yuki stops in the middle of the stairs and looks at her.
“You're not yet telling us what will be your course this upcoming college year. Do you have in mind what course you'll get in the upcoming school year college?" she wondered.
“I do not know yet. I have not decided yet what course I'll be choosing, Mom. I'll go ahead and rest. Good night, Mom. Good night, Dad,” Yuki answered concisely and he continued walking upstairs.
“Good night, son," Jero replied.
“He's not yet deciding?" Jen questioned herself while looking after her son.
“Honey, I think he can't decide yet what course he'll get if it is engineer, medical science or business, or maybe accounting. Don't worry he's excellent at everything that's why he can't decide yet but I know in a matter of time he'll be. I will talk to him. When I was his age too I can't decide what course is suited for me or what I'm capable of doing so, why don’t we let him decide what's fit for him? What do you think?” he suggested.
He then stood from his seat and threw his left arm to his wife's shoulders.
“I'm tired. Let's sleep,” he encouraged and they walked going to their room.
Morning, Momoko visited the house of Francisco with her gloomy face and cheerful aura. She asked Jen where is Yuki and Jen responded that her son is still in his room so, she immediately ran through the stairs not bothering to finish Jen's words. Anyway, Jen yelled through the stairs that Yuki is still sleeping but Momoko just chuckled hysterically. Momoko stood from the door of Yuki and before she knocks her mind conceived a thought whereas, She knocked at the door and it revealed a topless, sleepy, and God-like face of Yuki. He gave her a charming grin and grabbed her wrist to get inside of his room. She giggles because of that fantasy and immediately knocks on the door thrice but as the time elapsed, the door didn't open making her smile faded away. She knocked again with her sullen look but still, no one is opening so, she decided to open it on her own. She twisted the doorknob and look for Yuki who was peacefully sleeping on his bed. She silently approached him in order not to accidentally wake him up and from the edge of the bed, she sat and stared at him from hair, eyebrows, eyes, nose, cheeks to lips. Suddenly her mind reminisced what happened on the very horrible day that she loathed, Kyoko was kept on talking while Yuki was just gazing at her, and in just a blink of an eye, his lips landed on hers.
“Do you like Kyoko?" she questioned in a sad tone.
Yuki opened his eyes all of a sudden that make her frightened but he ignored her and stood from his bed and left the room quietly. She anyways just stared at the door that she stood to from her position and walk through the door.
“Did he hear me?" she confusedly asked herself.
On the other side, Kyoko is still sleeping on her bed, and from her dreamland, A wedding rhythm appeared through the air, the place was mesmerizing around when she started walking down the aisle that from afar she can saw her groom and waiting for her. She wondered why the guy doesn't have a face to show and all guests around except her father on her right side. Afterward, the priest announced that they are now man and wife so, they may now kiss. They both faced each other and she furrowed her eyebrows because the groom doesn’t have a face to show while he is slowly approaching her lips... But before their lips touch, Kyoko woke up from her dreamland because of her dog that is barking at the floor on her side. She sat from her bed and touched her dog in the head when she remembered what she dreamt about because all was blurred except her and her father. Her dog barked makes her thought suddenly disappeared when someone knocked at the door and she said come in so, her father appeared and got inside her room.
“It's good to know that you're already awake and no need to wake you up,” Yuta greeted with a smile on his lips.
“Good morning, Father,” shereplied with a small smile drawn into her face.
“Good morning too, beautiful. Please, get up there to take breakfast and your Mom is waiting downstairs,” he informed.
Her emotion suddenly changed. "No, thanks, Dad. I don't have an appetite,” she excused herself intentionally.
“Are you sure?"
She nodded. "Yes, I am. I will just eat later,” she answered politely.
“Okay, then. Just don't get yourself hungry, honey."
He sent her a sweet smile and turned back ready to close the door.
“Ah, Father?" she called his attention that makes him turned again to her.
“Yes?" he wondered still in the doorway.
“I just have one question."
“And what is that?" he queried.
“Is there any possibility that your dream may become true to life?" she disputed.
“Well, based on experienced, dreams became true occasionally. Psychologically speaking, dreams became true sometimes or it has a message to send to you. It can be a warning or a good one,” he informed her.
And as he can see, his daughter was confused thoroughly about her dream.
“I can see the confusion." He smiled while she gave him a questioning look. “So, if you don't have a question anymore I'll go downstairs. Anyway, are you going to school later?"
“Yes, I will but for now, I need to rest first. Thanks for the information,” she thanked with a small smile tag on her lips.
He anyways closed the door while she is still wondering about her dream.
At the dining table of Francisco, all were eating together with Momoko who’s sitting in the side of Yuki.
“Honey, I read about the arrival of Ankol and Ima in the article today and it says that they're here to come to the wedding of their grandchildren, Kevin and his fiance Akari,” Jero notified his wife in the side of him.
Kevin glanced at the both of them as he paid attention to them.
“I think they are not just here to attend a wedding,” Jen doubted.
“What do you mean, Auntie?" Kevin got in between.
“I know them well too and I know they didn't go here if there is no plan. They want something that's why they are here,” Jero implicated.
“What plan? We all know that your family is one of the richest families in the whole wide world because your family owns half of the world's businesses,” Momoko inserted herself not knowing what they were talking about.
While Yuki is just quietly eating.
At the hospital, Dra. Rina is walking in the hallway while reading the records in her hands when she stopped in the waiting area where the TV is because of the news about Pres. Yamashita and his wife's arrival. She didn't say anything then after the news, she resumed her work.
From the road, securities are cornering a white long limousine including motor trade, helicopters in the air, and military tank like they were escorting the President of the country but, no. The white limousine stopped by in the prestigious hotel and for the main event, Pres. Yamashita Tatsuya went out in a white tuxedo with the staff wearing an eye of a tiger, and next to him is Mrs. Yamashita Saki who is wearing a glamorous dress made in the Gold price tag with white gloves. She put on a charming and amiable look. Anyways, the crowd of reporters wants an exclusive report from them but unfortunately, their black men or bodyguards were covering them while strolling on the red carpet. Once they entered the hotel, everyone gave them a warm welcome, and then they proceed to the elevator with their two bodyguards. After a minute, they reached their office and Pres. Yamashita took his seat in his swivel chair while Mrs. Yamashita makes herself comfortable on the couch.
“Is everything settle, sweetheart?" Saki smoothly asked.
“Yes, sweetheart. Everything is already settled and everything is happening according to the plan,” Tatsuya replied with his mysterious smile.
Then, he took the envelope in front of him and opened it. One by one, he took the pictures out to see the image of it.
“Get ready and you two will be next,” he declared with his broad voice while looking at the pictures.
Someone then knocked at the door and Pres. Yamashita allowed him to come in and the guy said that Mr. Yamamoto has arrived.
“Okay. We'll follow,” heanswered.
Making him put down the pictures on his table to dismissed himself. Mrs. Yamashita stood up and began walking outside too while the pictures above the table were the stolen pictures of Yuki and Kyoko.
Midday, Yuki is walking tranquility with Momoko beside him who kept on glancing at him every second, going to their school.
“I'm so excited to play," Momoko said in a giggle.
When they got to their school, they saw Nathan and the rest of the basketball team playing. Nathan sighted Yuki and so when he saw the love of his life, he immediately runs without excusing himself while the guy was supposed to pass the ball to him but he left that's why everyone stops because of him.
“Yuki!" Nathan called running towards them.
When he got to stand he faced both of them, Yuki and Momoko stop when Nathan called him but instead of facing Yuki, Nathan faced Momoko because of excitement but she is just glaring at him irritatingly.
“Don't start with me, Nathan," Momoko warned madly. "Yuki..." shr said going at the back of Yuki to hid from Nathan
“He'll not protect you," Nathan commented in a chuckle. "By the way, Yuki, thank goodness and you are here because we're practicing. We have the game on Monday, right? So, we need to practice. Come and join us!" he induced Yuki with his hand gesture and he jogged going back to his team.
So, Yuki followed and Nathan passed to him the ball that eventually in all of the shots Yuki did, Momoko is cheering for him, meanwhile, Kyoko is at the quadrangle and having her jogging routine with her sportswear. Yuki is running because of playing basketball and he's having diaphoresis, A medical term for sweating while Kyoko is running around the tracking field and she's having diaphoresis too. On the other hand, Natsumi is walking along the corridor wearing her civilian clothes when she looked to her side and she spotted her cousin that makes her stop.
“What is she doing?" Natsumi asked in her subconscious while staring at Kyoko from a distance.
“I hope it's just easy to let go of the person you love," Yusuke murmured getting in the view without consent while staring at Kyoko too.
Natsumi turned her head to look at Yusuke in her side to see that he’s melancholy because of what happened.
“She didn't hear me out or at least give me a chance,” he saddened while eying at Kyoko.
“I'm sorry to hear that,” she commented feeling sad for him.
Yusuke became quiet while just gazing at Kyoko from afar, while Natsumi turned her head away from him and did the same. She then remembered that she has a video of him and Kyoko at the rooftop but she rather zips her mouth or things will get complicated than it is already.
In the game, the team of Yuki won against the team of Nathan. Afterward, all of them are resting on the bench as they were tired that they're catching their breath. Moreover, Yuki is sweating and so, Momoko handed him a towel and a bottle of water while Nathan is getting her attention but she is just looking at Yuki and nowhere else.
The sun is beginning to fall, Kyoko and Natsumi were simultaneously walking along the road.
“The principal said a while ago that we should be early to school for tomorrow because of volleyball. This is exhausting. In one whole month, we need to play our game and compete in different schools,” Natsumi told and she exhaled a deep sigh after. "Anyway Kyoko..." She pauses and took a glance at Kyoko who is listening to her. “Did you know that Sir Shinji transferred to another school? And do you know where?" she informed Kyoko giving her a guess.
Kyoko twisted her head to gave her cousin a look. “What? Where?"
“He transferred to the school whereas your mortal enemy is! He migrated to the Philippines,” Natsumi said emotionally.
“What?" Kyoko's eyebrows curled right after her cousin's words.
“You heard it right, cousin. Honestly, I came to across him a few days ago in the hallway and I asked him why but he just answered me 'secret'. But based on my sources, the reason why he transferred was that the salary there is much bigger than here. Psh." She rolled her eyes at that lame excuse.
While Natsumi is busy expressing herself, she didn't notice Kyoko stop walking because of the dizziness she's experiencing.
“I—“
Natsumi didn't finish her sentence because she noticed that Kyoko is no longer on her side so, she looks back and her eyes widened seeing her cousin on the floor.
“Kyoko!!! Help! Help!” she immediately yelled for help while trying to wake her cousin up.
Thereupon, Kyoko undergoes a CT scan and Yuta is the one operating the machine.
It's 6 in the evening already but Kyoko is the only one sleeping while the people inside of her room including her grandpa, grandma, and mother are having a deliberation about some business when Natsumi entered, together with Kevin and Akari that's why the room became more crowded. And because of too much noise, Kyoko woke up and opened her eyes slowly. Yuta has arrived with news about his daughter’s condition and the attention of everyone diverted to him because they want to know the result regarding if Kyoko has an illness or what.
“Thank you and you are now awake my princess,” Yuta greeted as he's the first one to know that she's now awake.
“What happened?" Kyoko questioned with her sleepy voice.
“You fell along the road a while ago but thank goodness and onee-chan and Kevin came to rescue you. I was worried for you,” Natsumi worriedly said.
“How's your feeling, my granddaughter?" Ojii-sama asked softly.
“Kyoko my granddaughter, you shouldn't stress yourself too much," Oba-sama said with anxiety. She looks to Yuta. "Yuta, I told you she's cannot do household chores.”
“Wait a minute,” Yuta interrupted before his patience is gone.
And everyone became quiet while staring at him.
“Tell us the result of Kyoko, honey," Rina spoke breaking the silence in the air.
“Okay. Listen to me, okay?" Yuta started and he looks at Kyoko. "Based on the test we performed on Kyoko, I didn't see anything illness or suspect that something would lead her to fall. She's fine. All she needs now is to rest. That's all,” he summarized.
“But Uncle, why did she fall and lost her conscious a while ago?" Akari asked out of curiosity.
“I don't know either and that's why I need to do more observation for me to know,” Yuta precisely told
“I don't have an illness,” Kyoko finally spoke stretching her back to the headboard of the bed. “I wanna go home. I don't like it here. I don't like to be in this situation. Please, Dad, I wanna go home. I don't like it here,” he protested without the strength to argue.
That she is trying to stand but Natsumi and Akari stop her. In the meantime, while staring at Kyoko and her reaction, Rina felt guilty because her mind brings the memories back what happened nine years ago where her mother-in-law died, When she declared that her mother-in-law was dead, Kyoko became emotional saying while hurting her; "I don't like you! You killed the most important person in my life! I hate you! I hate you!" Kyoko kept on shouting all of her grudged feeling about her while Yuta was stopping their daughter by hugging her from the back.
“I understand. I will settle your papers first and then, we will go home. Okay?” Yuta responded to his daughter who is emotionally and physically weak at the moment. He saddened for his daughter.
Rina then stepped back as she tried to forget all that happened before.
“Are you okay, Auntie?" Kevin asked Rina when he noticed her.
“Huh?" Rina turned to Kevin. "Um..yeah. I-I'm fine. Don't worry about me." She denied. "This is my entire fault. Kyoko will not be like this not because of me,” she composed in the back of her mind.
“Don't blame yourself," Ojii-sama whispered holding Rina's right shoulder making her startled for a second. “It's not your fault,” he cheered her up because guilty were all over her face.
To be continued...
“Do you like Kyoko?” Momoko questioned in a sad tone.
Yuki opened his eyes that make her frightened but he ignored her and stood from his bed and left the room quietly. He goes inside the restroom and faced the mirror looking at himself and what she said echoed to his mind that makes him think.
“Do I?” he asked more himself as he is full of doubts and dilemmas.
Kyoko is running around the tracking field and she's having diaphoresis too while she's bothered by her thoughts because, a while ago when she was in the washroom, she is having a headache that makes her grabbed into the sink because she cannot contain it anymore.
“What’s happening to me? This is the second time it happened. The first time was when I competed in the Olympics Tennis Competition and that when I was 12 years old and then, now. Should I tell Dad about it? No. I'll tell onii-chan first,” she deliberated inside of her mind.
After running she sat to the side and dialed a number that in just two rings it answered.
“Hello, Kyoko?” Ryota spoke huskily in the other line.
“Am I disturbing you?” she asked first.
“No, of course not. Why did you call by the way?”
“Onii-chan, I think I have a sick,” she hesitated but continue it anyway.
“You, what? You're sick? Are you fine? How are you feeling right now? Did you tell Dad about it already?” he worriedly asked.
“No, I didn't tell Dad yet. Not yet. Can we keep this between us first?” she pleaded.
“Keep what? That you're sick? Kyoko, Dad will be worried to you.” His voice increased because he's being a protective elder brother to her.
“Onii-chan, please...just for now. Let's keep this between us,” she begged.
“You are making me uncomfortable and anxious right now. But, fine. I won't tell Dad or any single soul not until you do.” He sighed in surrender in the other line.
“Thank you, Onii-chan.” She pursed her lips.
“Now tell me, how are you sick? And why do we have to keep this between us for a while?” he confusingly questioned.
“I'm having migraines. It happened the first time when I competed in the tennis competition in London. You were there with me and to tell you the truth, I had a very painful headache before I competed. It was unbearable but it was a relief because it didn't last long. Then, just a while ago at the restroom, I had it again but it was more painful than the first I had it before,” she explained her condition and what's happening to her.
“Why didn't you tell me the first time you had it? I was there. But why didn't you tell me?” he queried.
“I got scared. I don't know what to do and I don't want you to get worried.”
“Well, I AM WORRIED NOW,” he emphasized replying to her. “Kyoko, I know you hate hospitals but you have to check what's happening to your body,” he added.
“No, onii-chan. I won't go there no matter what happens,” she stubbornly mentioned.
“But Kyoko—” He didn't continue his sentence because he was being cut off.
“Not now, onii-chan. What I need to do now is to find what's happening to me first. What is the cause of it and why is it happening to me?” she firmly stood her ground against her elder brother.
“Exactly. You need to go to the hospital to know the cause and why you're experiencing that migraine,” he stated.
“Hospital won't find anything onii-chan because I think...it has something to do with what happened to me in the past after Granny died.” Her voice decreased as she recalled the past.
“I see. Depression. Stress Disorder. Did I guess it right?” he huskily told in a serious tone.
“Yes,” she answered softly and shortly.
