Clara's POV
Tonight, we are going to have another meeting with the Shadow Lords. I have completed the mission they gave me. I hope they will be pleased with what I have done. I should not have gone overboard, but she asked for it. I hate that woman more than I hate anybody in this world. The pain she and Noah put me through made my life hell. But amidst this turmoil, I'm grateful for Ryder's presence. For the first time, I felt like I belonged somewhere like I had a family. I know we still have other problems. Problems we had to figure out ourselves. We still have to consider Vlad, as I am sure he will show up here someday. I know he is looking for his children and me. I do not trust the vampires around here, especially Nikolai. We know he is working with Noah and Alpha Lawson.
