Ryder's POV

Alex told me everything Sarah said to the others before they brought Sarah into my office. It angers me that Sarah thinks she can badmouth my Luna in front of the other she-wolves and thinks I will not hear about it.

Although Sarah is a hybrid, I cannot keep her in this pack. I do not trust her around my mate. It is enough that my mate has gone through so much with another woman. I do not want her to feel like she is not welcome in my pack. I do not want to think that I am like a Noah. I do not want my mate to feel that Sara is like Zaria. I do not believe that my mate deserves to think that there is another in my life who is more important to me than her. I may not believe in love anymore, but I believe in being truthful to your mate. I do not want to lose my heart and get it ripped out of my chest when my mate dies. It was odd enough for me when Sonia died. I am afraid to love again.

"Bring her in. We all know what we have to do. We cannot allow her to disrespect my Luna! Sarah has gotten out of hand." I say.

My men bring Sarah into my office. She looks like she has been crying. I do not care. She should have thought before she talked about my Luna behind my back.

I do not want anybody to mistrust my Luna. So she has been Noah's mate, but I know he mistreated her and did not take her as his mate. He thought he was better than her because she was a hybrid. It also makes me angry. But I did not tell the WHC about how he treated her. They would have stepped in and taken him out if they knew how Noah had treated his mate because she is a hybrid. I do not want that. I like Clara to get revenge on him and Zaria. It reminds me that I must start training her tomorrow. I know she will be great. I can feel her magical powers and know she will be vital if I train her properly.

"Who do you think you are? Who gave you the right to talk about my mates behind my back and her back? Who gave you the right to plant seeds of doubt in the minds of the rest of the pack? Do you know Clara's past? Do you know what she went through when living with Noah? You have gone too far, Sarah. You are nothing but an Omega in this pack! You have until midnight to pack your things and leave! I have no place for a traitor like you in my pack. Get lost!" I shout at Sarah, who is crying.

"Please, Ryder, we have been much more than just friends. I love you and do not want you to get hurt again. I do not trust her. Why would you suddenly appear on our grounds before a war with Noah's pack? Don't you think she can be a spy for him? Is it a coincidence that she appeared here and was your mate? Who says they did not use magic on you? They could have put a love spell on you so you would think she was your mate. Everything is too much of a coincidence. Open your eyes. She is not who she pretends to be." Sarah says.

"You have forgotten one thing, Sarah. Nobody can put a spell on me. I have a powerful, magical wolf. You are not only insulting me, you are insulting Titan. We will know if somebody tries to put a spell on us. Get lost. I am done listening to you. I do not want you in my pack anymore because I believe you are pretending to be somebody you are not. Are you even a hybrid? Why do I always only sense your werewolf side? Where is your other side? Have you been pretending all the time? Even now, I cannot pick up on any other site. Yes, you are fast, but so are many other wolves. It doesn't mean that you have a vampire side. I am busy, and I have a lot of work to do. I wanted to leave this pack by midnight. Pack your things and leave. Alex, ensure you and the guards escort her off the pack grounds before midnight. If she is not gone by midnight, she will die." I say.

I don't feel sorry for Sarah. I know she only used me as I used her. She wanted to become the Luna, and I wanted somebody to warm my bed.

"You will regret this day, Ryder Black! I am a hybrid like you. I will be back. I will have my revenge, and you will lose another Luna. I will leave this pack, but I warn you, I will return!" Sarah shouts.

Interestingly, she never wants to talk about her other side than her werewolf side. I wonder if she is truly a hybrid. One will never know because sometimes hybrids cannot hide their other side if they want to. It is usually because they have a darker side. The side nobody wants to see, especially not when you are in a hybrid pack that does not tolerate black magic or evil.

There are only two reasons I can think of for Sarah not wanting to talk about her other side. Either she is only a werewolf and does not want us to know how vulnerable she is, or she has an evil side she does not want to reveal to us.

"I like a challenge, Sarah. I would like to see how you will get your revenge on me. You make a big mistake if you think you can come close to my mate. She might look timid, but she's not. For your sake, I hope it is the last time I see you. I do not like people who think they can come into my office and threaten me! I don't know who you think you are, but I do know that you are only an Omega in this pack. So get lost. Escort this woman out of my office. I never want to see her again. If she even put on foot on our grounds again, you may kill her." I say. Sarah looks at me in disbelief.

"Are you taking that woman's side against me? After everything we have gone through and been lovers for a long time, you pick a young thing over me! I will get my revenge, and you can't stop me. You are not always home, and your Luna cannot escort you everywhere. You will regret this day. I am also not as weak as you think I am. I will be back. I'm not going to beg you to let me stay! I am sorry you feel this way about me. We had fun together. I thought we had more. I never thought you would chase me away. I guess your new Luna has replaced me. You do not need me anymore. One day, you will regret it!" Sarah screams as Alex drags her out. She is in tears, but I know she does not love me, and perhaps it is in her best interest to leave this pack and find a new mate.

"I hope you did not chase your ex-lover away because of me. I like to keep an eye on her enemies. I think I have an enemy in Sarah. I know she will be back, but not because of you. She would not take revenge on you. She will take her revenge on me. However, I will be ready for her. You did promise to train me to use my magic." Clara says from the door.

"How did you survive the river?" I ask.

"A mysterious man in white saved me. He had a hoody on, and I could not see his face. I don't know if it was an angel sent from the Moon Goddess. However, I hope to meet him again someday to thank him." I say.

"Forget about him and every other man as you are, my Luna. I do not want you to think about him again." I say.
