“Morning,” I said, looking at Aurora who walked down the stairs from her room.
“You stayed here?” She asked, frowning in confusion.
“Good morning to you too, Ezio, how are you?” I asked, mimicking her voice, making her laugh.
“I’m sorry, I just didn’t expect you to be coming this early.” She said, looking at me.
“I never left. You refuse to stay in the house and I know that it is going to be a while before I can convince you. Therefore, the two of us are going to be staying here.” I said, and she raised an amused eyebrow at me. The two of us looked one another in the eye and I nodded at the table behind her.
The maids that I had assigned for her house were cleaning. But today, I was making sure to be preparing her table for her.
