Anastasia's POV
We're on our way to the thing Damien has planned for our family. He's been weird lately, acting all strange and secretive.
At first, I thought it was because of his concern for Camille and her statement of wanting me dead. But then after that, he seemed to act even weirder, going places without telling me where or why, making phone calls I can't hear, etc.
One day I caved and went to my mom, telling him I needed some mother/daughter and grandchild time, and he drove me here telling me he needed to run into town.
I talked to my mom about it all, and she calmed me down, telling me there could be lots of reasons for his behavior, and I would know if the reasons were bad. It didn't feel bad, just.. Strange.
