Anastasia's POV
As the night comes to an end, Damien asks if I can spare him a second, and we go aside but only so far that my parents can still see us but not hear us. I know they are worried about me, and I don't want to cause them worry.
"So, this was a really lovely evening," Damien says, smiling down at me. Gawd, isn't he just the most handsome man I ever saw? More so than Abraxas. I cursed at myself, what the hell, Anastasia?
"Yes, and again I apologize for my little moment," I say, blushing at the memory. Damien shakes his head.
