May isang kasamahan silang kaagad na pumunta sa second floor. He quickly went to the pathway to the CR and found Mingi hugging Yunho tightly. "Young master," he replied. Kaagad na tinignan ni Mingi at Yunho ang nagsalita. Tila mabuhayan sila nang makita na kasamahan nila ito. "Mingi, let's get young master out of this mall, quickly. Our troupe is already in charge of threatening the opposite troupe." Mingi helped Yunho stand up, holding the latter's hand. "Don't let go of my hand while we're running, young master." He sounded so full and was not the Mingi who was softly hugging Yunho. He turned his gaze to the other guy who went to them. "Give me any gun. If you have pistol, that's better." The other guy immediately gave him the piston gun that he was not using. "Use this, first," the guy uttered. "I'll clean the place and will make sure to not leave any traces. The bulletproof car is already prepared outside." Mingi nodded once. "Roger. Thank you for coming," he said before leaving the guy hanging. Kaagad silang dumiretso ni Yunho sa parking lot. The group of their troupe waved their hands to Mingi who was searching. When he spotted the hands, he immediately ran while holding Yunho to the car. "How's young master?" the guy asked Mingi, who was tightly holding the hands of Yunho. "Is he fine?" "I did not let anything happen to him. You can assure that but take him to the infirmary, still, after going to the camp," Mingi replied while chasing for his breath. "You know the drill, right? When something happened, bring the heirs to the camp." "Yes," the gang members replied to Mingi in chorus. He really is the acting leadet for the gang. He looked at Yunho who was just quietly looking at him. "Come inside." "Hindi ka ba sasama?" "I'm sorry, young master, but my co-members need me inside," Mingi replied and nodded twice. "You can trust all these people here." "It's not that I can't trust them," Yunho replied and paused all of a sudden. "I worry for you. Kaya naman na nila 'yan, Mingi. You can just come with me." "Still, young master, just in case." Yunho just looked at him with asking looks and was hoping for an answer. "I'll come back safe." Yunho smiled and give him a nod. "I'll hold onto that. Don't get hurt." The last thing he saw before the door got closed is rare smiling eyes of Mingi. --- "BAKIT KA ba palaging nandito?" Allen asked Serim who was holding the cup of his coffee. "I mean, I'm not against it, but it's just weird and so random." "How is it weird and random, then?" Serim asked with a hint of sarcasm on his tone. "Or you are developing a weird and a random feelings for me." "Ang hangin mo naman, sana hindi ka ma-impacho," Allen replied and smirked. "What I mean of random is... you know, hindi naman kita kilala but you are always here." "Always?" Serim asked, raising his eyebrows. "I am always here? It has just been two days." "But isn't that already weird that we're strangers and you always visit me inside the hospital? If it's not weird then, what do you call that?" "An act of voluntarism," Serim replied which made him burst out laughing. He just laughed on his own joke. "Well, why did I laugh of that? That's not even a joke." "So, sinasabi mong nagv-volunteer ka? Sa'n naman? Sa pag-aalaga sa 'kin dito? Well, if that's your point, I can take care of myself. P'wede ka na umalis." "Alaga? I guess that's not the right word, it's looking at you..." Allen's brows furrowed. "Looking? What do you mean by that?" "Fixing my gaze to you," Serim replied and left out a smile. "Bakit? Because I just want to. I just want to see your face." "I am not even joking, Serim," he replied, calling Serim on a first name basis. "Tell me, bakit ba kasi?" "Oh, well, I have two reasons on why am I here, looking for you," Serim replied and sat on the chair beside Allen's bed. "First, I've made an agreement with Cera." "Agreement? With that girl?" Serim nodded that made Allen roll his eyes. "Ano na namang katarantaduhan 'yan?" "She made me look for you. Bantayan ka raw, knowing how hard-headed you are," the guy, slurping the hot, bitter coffee replied. "Well, totoo nga naman. I have just discovered that it was you who sutured your own gunshot wound." "How did you know that?" "Cera also told me that," Serim replied and tapped Allen's head. "You're cute when you're curious and annoy too." "Stop touching my head," Allen replied, deadly looking at Serim. "I may seem cute but I can kill you with one shot." Serim gaped and made an o-shape on his mouth. "Should I be threatened with that? Dapat na ba akong matakot? Should I piss on my short?" "You are an annoying jerk, you know?" Allen replied and rolled his eyes. "Tell me the second reason why you're here." Serim once again made a double pat on Allen's head, as if teasing him. "It is not the right time for you to know." "When will be?" "When I'm ready enough to tell that to you," Serim replied and emptied his coffee glass. "One cup of strong coffee is not enough for my body. Let me go out first and grab another." "Wala ka bang ginagawa sa buhay mo at palagi kang nandito?" Allen asked Serim who turned his gaze and fixed his two eyes to the former. Allen did expect a response but he received an annoying look. "Get that annoying face of you out of my room. If you plan on coming back, make the coffee two." "Received your order, sir," Serim playfully replied and opened the door. "I will come back in one moment." --- GROUPS OF table with men cheering their glasses is what greeted Yunho when he went out of the room. Kasama niyang lumabas ng kwarto si Mingi na kakapalit lang ng damit. Hours ago, he was glad that Mingi went back to the camp complete, safe and sound. It was an unexplainable feeling to see that the one who protected him went back to the camp safe. He never gave malice to what he felt that time as he thinks it is just normal for a person to worry about the other person who protected him. "What are they celebrating for?" Yunho asked Mingi, who was beside him walking through the path, with furrowed brows. "They look like happy just after what happened kanina lang." "They are celebrating not because we were nearly attacked but because the enemies were defeated, young master. It is a culture for the gang to meet and celebrate after a victory," Mingi explained before grabbing Yunho's hand and dragged him somewhere. "Come, sit with us, young master." "Young master," a drunk guy called him and gave him a toast. "Bakit ka nandito? Wala pong mamahaling wine dito." The drunk guy laughed his ass out. Kaagad rin itong sinundan ng tawa ng mga taong naroon sa kampo. Mingi tried to stop them, as he know what Yunho is capable of doing. He must be soft but is secretly deadly. "Do you think I can't drink a cheap beer, huh?" Yunho replied and emptied the glass of beer. "And you are insulting me?" "What's wrong, young master?" Mingi asked and held Yunho's arm. "Are you okay? Are you still sober?" Yunho did not give a damn and looked at the drunk guy with a glare. "You really have the guts to celebrate after what trashy job you did hours ago?" The way he talked is sincere. The noise slowly fades upon the members of the gang noticed how serious Yunho is. "You did a really terrible job kanina, to be honest. You made many reasons while we are receiving the attacks of the opposite gang. Para kayong pagong sa bagal ninyo kanina." "Yunho, don't take it seriously. They are just joking." "Kanina, who is there to protect me? Who is there to take risk? Who is there to counterattack theirs? It was Mingi, henceforth, it was only him who deserves to celebrate and not you," Yunho uttered, making all the people inside the camp be quiet. He is already drunk. Despite of being a gang heir, his tolerance in alcohol is not bearable. "We almost gave up kanina. I almost did my threat. Yes, you came but that's nothing to be proud of. You came late." The large door of the camp opened. What greeted them are the siblings Cloud and Merck Lee, the gang leader and the largest stakeholder in the gang respectively. As a sign of respect, they all stood up and greeted both of the highest ranking official of the gang with the uttermost respect they can give. Merck went directly to the place where Yunho is. Unfortunately, Yunho has already been asleep on Mingi's right shoulders. Mingi nodded in respect upon seeing the two old guys of the gang. "I'm sorry I am unable to stand up, my lords. As you can see..." "We both can see," Cloud uttered behind Merck. "We have heard that you did a great job in protecting Yunho. If it was not because of you, then something bad could have happened already." "It was with the help of my members, my lord—" What Mingi is saying was interrupted by Yunho putting a finger in front of his mouth. "It was all his job," he replied, not sober. "He did all the job, dad and uncle. Your useless fighters did not give any help. It was all Mingi." "Yes, son, it was Mingi," Merck replied while checking Yunho's temperature. Yunho then raised a thumbs up. "You know that Yunho can't take a single drop of alcohol, right?" "Yes, sir. I'm sorry that I haven't been able to stop him from doing so." "How many glass did he take?" Mingi looked at the glass Yunho used before looking at Merck. "He only drank a half-full of beer, sir." The beer that was intaken by Yunho is a full glass. He lied, afraid that Yunho will scolded. "Carry Yunho to one of the master's room," Merck commanded Mingi who did the job immediately after he was tasked to. "After bringing him to the room, go to the office. We have something important to talk with you."
