YUNHO GRABBED the seatbelt and held into that thing as if it was the greatest hope of his life. He even closed his eye but was still glancing to the road being taken by Mingi. "Hyung!" he yelled upon seeing the cliff near to the direction Mingi took. Mingi once again looked at him on the rear mirror of the car. "Trust me," he mumbled. Even though it was not that audible that time because of the sounds of the car rushing onto each other. It was just a meter far from the deep cliff when Mingi stopped the car. He focused his sight on the rear mirror, not only to see how is Yunho doing but also to see if the cars are still following them, which happened to be a yes. Mingi turned his gaze to Yunho who was also looking at him on the rear mirror. "Are they still going here?" "What are you planning to do, hyung?" Yunho worriedly asked. "Ba't ka tumigil dito sa bandang may bangin? Malamang itutuloy nila na pabagsakin tayo dito. Are you not thinking well?" "Yunho, I said trust me, okay?" The sincerity in his eyes is overflowing. Yunho's trust has already been on him, a long time ago already. "Ngayon, kapag paparating na sila, tell me." "How am I supposed to do that?" "You will be my eyes," Mingi vaguely replied. "Now, if they are just a meter away from us, tell me." "One meter? How am I supposed to measure that, hyung?" Yunho replied while looking at the back, panicking. "Pero sige, I'll try my best to do that job well." "Remember what I told you, Yunho. Dito nakasalalay ang buhay natin," Mingi said while looking at Yunho on the rear mirror. He was gripping the steering wheel at the same moment. "Call my name when they are one meter away from us." Yunho immediately turned his gaze to the car which are still moving ahead of them. "Mingi-hyung!" he uttered upon seeing the very first car to reach one meter away from the car they are in. Mingi turned the steering wheel that caused the car to drift to the left. The right part of the car then was falling on the side of the cliff, so Mingi stepped on the acceleration pedal to exert force on the car and to survive. The cars which were exerting a lot of forces to make them fall behind instead were the ones who fall to the cliff. However, Mingi is still in chaos by pulling the car from the side of the cliff where they might fall. Stepping on the accelerator pedal, Mingi pushed it really hard for them to leave the side of the car. "Goddamn," he uttered in frustration. He could feel the tension inside the car upon feeling that anytime, they could fall on the side of the cliff. Yunho can sympathize with the pain Mingi is experiencing. He wanted to help but he does not know how to. Luckily, the car passed its crucial stage. He immediately drove it faster to the road where they are really going. "We need to go faster." "Why?" Yunho confusedly asked. "May humahabol pa rin ba sa 'tin, hyung? Wala naman na akong makita." "The car that they used is explosive, I learned it when I was training as a made man." Mingi stamped his feet on the acceleration pedal as one and gripped his hands on the steering wheel. "Brace yourself for faster speed, okay? And, prepare yourself from an explosion. The gas they used is highly flammable. Mabilis lang 'yon masunog. Once it hit the car, the car will explode eventually." The car was still going faster than before while Yunho looked at the outside of the window. Seven big explosions have happened that shocked both Mingi and Yunho. Not that long time after, they eventually made it to the campsite where the gang members are training. Special mention that the camp told was the one where Yunho tried to learn how to use gun that ended up in chaos. Going back to the real agenda, they went to the place because Merck has to talk with them about something. Mingi was about to leave the office of the under boss when Merck stopped him from doing so. "How are you two doing?" tanong nito sa dalawang nakaupo lang sa harap niya at walang imik. It was like as if Merck is the priest of their wedding. "Are you two blending well?" "Dad, we're childhood friends," Yunho answered Merck. "And he's the one I trust the most also. I'm glad and thankful na siya ang kinuha mong bodyguard ko ngayon. Hindi na ako magrereklamo." "Well, if that's the case, I think I did the right thing to do," Merck proudly replied. "About the trust, my son, how well do you trust your bodyguard?" "I can tell that I trust him better than you," Yunho sarcastically replied. "Jinjja. Also, I don't want to call him bodyguard or whatever it is that is near. He's like a brother to me, okay na sa 'kin kahit walang label siya na bodyguard o kung ano. He's doing fine taking care of me, you don't have to worry. Well, I guess you don't have time to worry about me?" "Hanggang ngayon, issue pa rin ba sa 'tin ang time ko, Yunho?" Merck uttered while looking at his son. He put his palms on the table and bent near Yunho. "I was doing all of these to feed and raise you, Yunho. If this was an issue a long time ago already, why did you not tell it to me?" "I told you," Yunho replied and smirked sarcastically. "Or I guess, you did not hear what I told you. P'wede ring I did not tell you because I'm afraid that I'll get snobbed, kasi 'yon naman palagi, 'di ba?" Merck heaved a deep sigh. Both of them, the son and the dad, has been having a lot of conscience towards each other, but when they explode, no one can stop them. "I knew it, hindi ka lang rin naman makikinig sa 'kin, I think it was a bad move to call you two here in my office." "You should know that I'll listen to you, dad, when you finally learn to listen on what I'm saying." Yunho emphasized a tone on the last syllable of his statement. "I would not come here unless needed. Buti nga sinabi sa 'kin ni Mingi-hyung na may gusto kang sabihin sa 'kin. If it was not him, I'll not come here." Merck was about to utter something when Mingi talked. "You don't have to thank me, sir, I was just doing my job." It was like Mingi is trying to divert the topic. "If you have something to tell me and Yunho, sir, you can just tell us. It's already getting night and the road is not that safe." Yunho looked at Mingi, as if telling the other to not tell about what happened. It was as if they're sharing the same brain cells, because Mingi does not really want to let Merck know about what happened before they arrived in the campsite. "I was just trying to ask how you two are doing, as a young master and a bodyguard. Are you two doing fine? Wala naman bang ginagawang kalokohan 'to si Yunho, Mingi?" Merck asked and looked at Mingi the same time he asked the question. "If you two want, just sleep here in the camp site. It's dangerous to trip towards the city indeed." "I am not doing anything that can ruin your image, dad, if that's what you're thinking. He is a very good bodyguard so far, he's the best you could make me have nga, e." Mingi looked at Yunho who was praising him. "And no, I'd rather stay on my condominium than to stay here." Mingi talked. "Yunho is doing really fine, sir, and so am I. You don't have to worry on things." Mingi smiled with utmost respect and sincerity. "If you would excuse us, sir, we should take our leave already. I assure you that nothing dangerous will happen to your child while he was on my protection." --- MINGI OPENED the door of the condo only to see Yunho opening a bottle of wine. "Oh, for what are you doing that?" he asked. He placed the things he bought outside to the table where Yunho is opening the wine. "Ako na," he uttered while getting the wine from Yunho's hands who seems to be having a hard time getting the cork from the bottle of wine. "I was just thinking of drinking wine," he uttered. Mingi gave him the opened wine which he reciprocated with a smile. "Thank you for opening the wine, hyung. I guess I could not really live without you." That exact statement made Mingi froze for a moment. It has been a while since he looked at his feelings for Yunho and the moment Yunho told that, he immediately have had hopes. "Yeah," awkward niyang sagot. "These are the ramyeons that you told me to buy. Should I cook it?"
