Cat’s POV:
When we got to the pack house, there are shouting going on inside Lucas and I look at each other and run inside.
“What on earth is going on here?” Lucas asks in his Alpha voice.
I spot a girl I haven’t seen before with brunette hair and green eyes wearing glasses.
“I’ll tell you what’s going on, this girl here came and claiming that she is Derrick’s mate”, Gwen glares at her, and I see Derrick growls at Gwen.
“Is this true Derrick?” He asks.
“Yes, but I can’t ditch my date which I promised Gwen”, he answers and everyone gasps.
“But she’s your mate?” I gap, “she’s all that matter as for right now.”
“What if I’m not ready for a mate?” He frowns and Gwen smirks.
“See he wants to go on a date with me”, she states.
