Derrick’s POV:
“Hey”, Rose smiles at me when she sees me coming down the stairs.
“Hey”, I greet her with a kiss.
“Catalina is back”, she informs me, “she with her new trainer.”
Oh yeah, Kent.
“I know, I knew him from since middle school.”
“So there’s no need to worry about him being along with me?”
“No”, I hug her.
“You should talk to her, I know you miss her”, she looks up at me.
I sigh, “we talked about this Rose.”
“I know, but I can feel your frustration.”
Dang it.
“Let’s go for a walk”, I suggest, “you haven’t been to the cliff.”
“Are we going into the water?”
“Do you want to?” I ask and she nods eagerly.
“Go change then and meet me here in ten minutes, I got some things to handle with the Alpha”, I kiss her again and leave.
She’s right though, I do miss
