Lucas’s POV:
A few days later
Two days ago my father told me he is stepping down as Alpha and I’ll be the new Alpha of the Shadow Pack. If I said I was nervous that was an understatement of the century, I was scared to tell my parents and pack down.
“Big night tonight”, Lydia says as we play game in Lincoln’s room, it has been a while since the three of us spent quality time together.
“Nervous?” Link asks.
“I just don’t want to let down the pack”, I admit.
“You succeed in your training, you’ll be fine”, he assures me.
“I hope so”, I sigh.
“Who’s going to be your escort?” Lydia questions.
“Escort for what?”
“Your party duh, you can’t be an Alpha and arrive at your own party dateless, you’ll be put to shame”, she states.
“I don’t need a date to attend my party Lydia, I’ll be fine”
