“Mother”  I said shocked at seeing her again, twice in the one day. “Callie”  she said in a whisper.  She got up to come over to me and hug me, but I moved away avoiding her. “What are you doing here?”  I asked her, looking at her straight in the eye. “I was in the area”  she said as she slid back into the seat she was in. “That’s nice.”  I said not really interested. “Callie, come sit down, we need to have a chat”  My grandpa said to me. Normally I would sit where my mother is sitting but I didn’t want to sit anywhere near her to be honest. I was having mixed emotions about her being here. Seeing her in the street was one thing but having her in my home was another. After all these years I just didn’t know what to do or say. “How have you been?” my mother asked looking nervous. “
