Cassidy looks at her friends, “You two, please promise me as well to stop Patricia at all cause. Whatever she’s going to do that you know that’s going to harm her, just stop her right here and there.” Gabriel nods, “We will, Miss Cassidy. If we need to tie her up just to stop her, we will.” “Hey!” Patricia looks at Gabriel who chuckles. It made the professor giggle, making the atmosphere lighter. “I am expecting that.” “The tying part, Miss?” Cassidy laughs, “Just the looking out part, I am sure you won’t be able to tie her up.” “Miss, desperate problems require desperate solutions. I honestly could foresee myself doing that if Patricia’s stubborn enough.” Cassidy looks at Patricia, “You heard it from your friends themselves, behave and you will not find yourself immobilize with ropes around your body.” Patricia glares at Gabriel who laughs, “Miss Cassidy is on board with it. I am sure Anne’s whip would be enough to pull you and tie you in place.” Antonietta was surprised to be part of this conversation, slightly jerking in shock. “I…” She gulps, “Isn’t the whip too painful for her? I don’t want to hurt her in the process.” Cassidy smiles, “Looks like we have a deal. We could conduct our special classes on weekends if you wish so. Rest yourself and enjoy Friday’s event. I am sure you will find some clubs and groups interesting to join.” They enjoyed the rest of their small snacks. Patricia finally had the chance to get to taste the drink she ordered. She took a sip and her senses went wild. There was a touch of chill on her throat yet a warm feeling was left on her tongue. It took time to feel and taste the true feeling of the drink, but it was worth it. It was unbelievably refreshing and a delicious drink. She looks at her red reflection on it, she feels at ease. “Is it spicy?” Gabriel looks at her as Patricia shakes her head, “It’s in color red but it doesn’t mean that it’s spicy. It gives you a warm feeling after the cold one, but it’s not chili hot.” “Well, based on its name, it sounds like it should come from the Ignitian region or based of the delicacies in there. But, thinking of your description, it doesn’t sound anything regional.” Cassidy looks at her, “It might have been an experimental brew, something out of nowhere. Besides, you don’t have to stick to the traditions of brewing and the same drinks. I think the owner thinks it might what makes this cafe much more popular.” “Speaking of,” Gabriel took a sip on his tea, “This cafe is too out of the way to even gain customers. Is this the only vacant area?” Cassidy shrugs, “Maybe, but I see some vacant stalls that would have been perfect for such food and beverage establishment. In all of that, I know the higher-ups have a reason they did it, and I trust their decision. Besides, the commerce area of the school is not under my power. I am just a simple consumer here, a worker of the school and the school only.” “Why did they forbid them on a much better place? This is the best Breeze by the Sea I ever tasted! It’s just the right amount of minty flavors, with a hint of sourness while remaining sweet. The cold stays in your throat which is such a good feeling.” Antonietta stops as she realizes she have talked to much. She stayed silent and hides on the comfort of her side bangs as she continue to take some sips on her drink. Cassidy smiles at this sight, “It’s been fun being with you three. Your interactions with each other are just the best. It’s been a while since I saw this friendship this wholesome, and I hope this never ends.” Gabriel chuckles, “Of course, Miss Cassidy. I am the one carrying this team.” Patricia nudges him with her elbow which made Gabriel chuckle, “Why? You two are always silent. I’ve gotta carry them sad gals. Besides, we don’t need more rain, and I could be the rainbow!” Patricia rolls her eyes playfully, “I’m fine, it’s just I have a problem, and Antonietta is just that.” “That’s exactly the reason why I need to be the rainbow in your rain clouds on your heads.” They continued to chat until they finished their small snacks. “Thank you, Miss Cassidy. It’s quite embarrassing that you need to treat us just for me to tell somethings to you.” Cassidy chuckles, “Don’t worry. As I said, it’s nice to have some company. Besides, it’s just once. We don’t know when we will talk like this.” “I mean, we could, everyday, Miss Cassidy.” Antonietta nudges Gabriel which laughs, “Why? Free tea is something I will always grab.” Their professor had a good laugh, “Oh, you’re such a jolly man, Gabriel.” She chuckles, “Anyways, I’ll be going to my next class now, go to your respective ones as well. Don’t be late, I don’t want to hear teachers complaining that I took my students to a treat on a cafe.” They all shared one last giggle and parted ways. Patricia went to her classes that day and went home afterwards. The lack of any special training for three days gives her some rest and collect herself. The trip to the Victorious Brew cafe earlier gave her an idea to go back there and order the same drink. After doing her assignments, she went there with some money, hoping to try other brew than the one she would like to try again. She arrived at the cafe, nearing the night, it’s much more crowded. Almost all of the few seats it has is all taken. There was a small cue but was big enough for a small cafe. She went in line to buy her wants. While she waits, she looks up for the drinks she wants to try and some of the treats. As she was looking, she catch the sight of an individual with a familiar hair going inside the kitchen. Patricia was going to investigate, but she was close in line to get out of there. There’s a lot of people behind her and none of them looks willing enough to reserve the space she has. She sighs and retreated from her plan. She ordered her wants when it was her turn. She waited on a corner and the plan she had earlier popped on her mind again. The door to the kitchen was ajar, giving her a chance to confirm the familiar figure she thought of earlier. She approached it carefully and peaks to the other side. Her eyes wanders around only to find none in the kitchen. There was an old woman brewing some drink. Patricia felt disappointed, “It might have just been you.” She whispers as her name was called in the counter. She retrieves all of her orders and went back to her dormitory. She consumes all of the things she bought, it fill some holes in her heart. The more she’s alone and the fewer things she does makes her think more of the things Cassidy said back at the medical wing. It weakens her more as she recalls it word by word. She decided to busy herself by walking around and just doing whatever she could do. As the night falls, there she takes her true rest and slept well the whole night. Patricia woke up the next day with a little bit of headache and nothing much. She ate her breakfast and went to her first class. The seats are already filling in when she arrived. She took her seat along with her other friends and waited for the professor arrived. “Are you feeling better now, Patricia?” Antonietta looks at her as they sit on their seats. Patricia nods, “Yeah, I think it’s just for yesterday. Well, I hope so.” “We’re hoping for it too, don’t worry Pat. What you have experienced before is excruciating enough. You don’t need another round of those.” Antonietta nods, “Yeah, a pain on the chest is the worst thing of all. It feels like you are in the verge of dying.” Patricia smiles, “Don’t worry, I am feeling better than ever. After some few minutes, Professor Rohan arrived in the class, “Good morning, students.” They greeted them back. Before he started the lesson, a familiar figure arrived in the class late. “Oh, Miss Veronika! Why with the late arrival?” Veronika looks at their professor, “I am sorry, Professor.” Their professor crosses his arm, “Would you mind to tell the reason of your tardiness?” The young lady was speechless in her place, seemingly hesitant. “I’ll tell you after class, sir.” The professor has read the situation and just nods, “Sure, Miss Veronika but please be much more punctual next time. It’s a good act of discipline. Take your seat.” Veronika looks around, looking for a vacant even there’s a lot in the room. She started walking towards Patricia’s area. Patricia watches her all the way through, quite surprised at first that she would go and take a seat with them. Alas, she disappointed herself as she watches her take a seat on the same row as hers, but they were far from each other. Veronika didn’t bat an eye on her and focused on the lesson. “Last Tuesday, I have recommended to you the family of weapons that I think will be suitable for you. I hope you had research on them to understand them further because this day, we will know how you will summon them in existence.” Patricia gasps in shock, Antonietta looks at her, “Have you not studied yours?” The blonde girl shakes her head, “I forgot.” She slaps her forehead, “I knew it that I am forgetting something.” Gabriel looks at her, “It’s fine, you were feeling unwell yesterday, I am sure you could figure it out.” “I have no background in polearms other than seeing it was like a big stick as a weapon.” Patricia starts to panic, “Do you just whack it? Is there some special move for them or some sort of rules on how to handle them?” Gabriel chuckles, “Just think of a big stick with some blade on it then. Don’t worry, I am sure you will get the weapon that will be right for you.” “Before we proceed, I will teach you the common techniques of summoning them efficiently and avoiding any disasters. Hazard on yourself and to others is still hazard, and we want to avoid them as much as possible. Of course, you don’t want yourself to be hurt, do you?” Professor Rohan chuckles then proceed to demonstrated some, emphasizing the fact of spacing between the body and the weapon. He called them to the circle center after some demonstration. “The first and crucial step in summoning your weapon is summoning your elements first. It will be much easier for you in the long run. Then think of your weapon and how it’s going to look like.” He snaps his finger and sets some example by his side. “It’s simple in words, but I want it in action. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate.” Patricia looks for an example of a polearm. She saw one with a diamond-shaped blade on its end. “Perfect,” she whispered to herself. She looks at her hand, she clenches it hoping to control her power this time. She makes a diamond shape on her hand, the center glows blue. As it forms, she clenches her hand, as if holding something. She extends her arm as a shaft appeared connecting it to the blade that she created. Patricia takes a deep breath and the glowing stops. She settles it down and looks at it. It looks like the polearm she saw, and the best part is, she created a polearm with no problems. “Yes!” She exclaimed excitedly.
