Chapter 4 When Joshua woke, the house was silent. The lights in the living room were off, but the chandelier in the dining room was on. He made his way from the couch to the dining table slowly, stretching as he went. The clock on the dining room wall read one forty-five. He felt like he had slept better than he had in ages, and the house smelled amazing. Was that Italian food he was smelling? As he approached the dining table, Joshua noticed a plate full of what looked to be spaghetti and meatballs. Next to it was a place setting, and on top of it was a small note.
