There on the bulletin board was the schedule of assigned lifeguards. And it looks like I’m paired with Dev for the whole summer. What a bummer. A handsome workmate who’s distancing himself from me.
Wow! Handsome huh? To be honest, Dev looks yummier than Luke. With that man bun and trimmed beard. If Luke has charms to lure in females, Dev has this mysterious-s***h-bad-boy vibes in him that makes him a target of ladies.
Anyway, I took a sniff of myself, trying not to be obvious should somebody come in. But I do smell nice. I have showered this morning, put on deo and a spray of my favorite body cologne. Perhaps I have something in between my teeth. I looked at a nearby mirror and checked. Nah. Nothing there.
So, what’s the problem why he went away when I had introduced myself?
