“Tell me you didn’t buy her a bike” Mira told Archi when they came to pick Astoria. “Didn’t I tell you, we will not buy you a bike” she told Astoria who stood behind Archi and held his hand.
“Mira, she told me you already said no. But I just wanted to give her something since I don’t get to do it most of the time” Archi explained.
She sighed. “Get in the car, we’re going” she told Astoria. Astoria ran to TJ and raised both her arms. TJ carried her and they both got in the car. “It’s okay Archi. I just want her to learn the value of money. That we can’t buy things just because she wanted it. Anyway, this is an exception” she smiled at him and patted his shoulder.
“It’s a big bike, she can use it for a few years” Archi assured her. She nodded.
