Chapter Five- A Night of Surprises

Chapter Five

“Please, Gia...just give both of them a chance.”

“Both of them? You tried to set me up? He’s not even my type!” She scolded Selene. Unfortunate for Nico, he came to hear this as they club music switched over to another song, allowing her spoken words to be heard. Nico tried to act if as though it brought no harm to him, but his eyes showed his feelings. However, he decided to pick up whatever self esteem he had left and moved towards Gia whom he was instantly taken by as she was his type.

“How about we suffer for an hour and then we never have to see each other again? I’ll even let you pretend I’m your gay best friend to help you pick up another guy.”

“Wait...really?” During this moment, Gia began to look at Nico and analyze him fully. Although it was true that he wasn’t her type, she did find his humor and consideration to be alluring and due to this, agreed to the arrangement. She also found his dark essence rather attractive as it was mysterious and since her past relationships with the “preppy” types didn’t work out, she decided to give him a chance.

Nico nodded before turning back to Lyle and moving close to him but far enough away so Selene could hear what he told him. “You owe me.” Are the words that left Nico’s lips as he moved along with Gia and disappeared in the sea of jiving people. Lyle was standing behind Selene as he bit his bottom lip and let out a sigh. “Damn…” He said as she blushed.

“It’s not too much?”

“Maybe too much on…” He said as he playfully bit the nape of her neck. “But that is a matter better left until later...I want to be the only one to see you naked.” He said upon bringing his hand to her butt and squeezing it to show his possessiveness over her. “Until then, wanna dance?”

“Are you gonna request Sinatra or Day again?”

He smirked. “Unfortunately, I don’t think these people here would agree.”

They both looked around the club and saw how they had been in their early twenties with neon lights bouncing up and down as the club itself was lit in a dim light. The music however had been belonging to artists such as Skrillex and Avicii in honor of his life. It was the type of music that neither Selene or Lyle were used to, but for each other and for the sake of spending time together, they went along with it. Selene took the reigns this time as she pulled Lyle onto the dance floor and into their own little section where they cared little for those around them. She placed his hands upon her body and her usual modest self became lit with sexuality as she brought his hand on every curve of her body and even up to her breasts. It was a moment that he didn’t dispute as he enjoyed knowing that the entire club knew she was taken. She drew herself to the bathroom and hovered near the door before passing a stall and hearing a grunting and groaning sound. Selene normally would have just rolled her eyes and thought internally on how there was no class left in the city before she recognized the pair of velvet heels on the bottom of the stall. Aside from that, the door then came open as Gia stepped out with Nico fixing his tie as he had been wearing a suit. Upon exiting, Gia was fixing her lip gloss as it had been smeared on her face and placed upon Nico’s.

“I suppose it’s safe to say you two are getting along.” Gia blushed before looking back to Nico and ignoring her friend’s comment.She then pulled Nico’s hand and left the bathroom while Selene allowed herself to cool off from her dirty dancing with Lyle. She held herself over the sink and fixed her eyeliner as it came to smear due to sweat and turned to the left to see a girl completely drugged up as she took another hit of cocaine from a nearby compact mirror. The girl looked to Selene and c****d her brow before offering some to Selene, she then knew where she would come to draw the line when it came to what danger she would partake it. She politely declined the offer and moved back onto the dance floor before passing Nico and Gia embracing each other upon the dance floor. With every other beat, they would exchange a kiss, leaving Selene to smirk at the fact that her best friend possibly found her happiness-at least for the night.

With her friend being distracted, Selene made her way to Lyle who was sitting back in the VIP section with what appeared to be a Scotch on the Rocks in front of him. He just finished taking a sip upon finding Selene to move over by him. Upon seeing her smile and her shaking her head, he couldn’t help but offer a smile of his own.

“What is it?”

“I don’t think it was a bad idea that you set them up.”

“Are they actually getting along?”

Selene looked to the dance floor just as they came into view, pointing to them so Lyle could see it himself.

“I would say so.” She said as they were truly all over each other as if they were a couple in complete lust. It surprised both Lyle and Selene as they were worried of them being friendly, never imagining that they would become romantic. It was a thought that was quickly addressed and forgotten as Lyle and Selene wanted to focus on the time that they had together.

“Would you like something to drink?” He asked as a waitress came around dressed in what appeared to be cabaret outfit, complete with fishnet stockings and enough cleavage to make even the most chaste men take a look. It was a thought that crossed Selene’s mind as she saw Lyle’s eyes find their way to her breasts. She feared that perhaps she wasn’t sexy enough for him in that moment, fearing he would grow bored of her.

“s*x on the beach.” She told the woman upon placing her hand on Lyle’s knee, claiming territory to the woman as the waitress gave her a look similar to “whatever”. She then disappeared and left the duo alone as Lyle looked to her.

“Are you jealous?”

“No.” She spoke in fear of seeming insecure to him.

“Good. You have no reason to be. I have not been able to take my eyes off of you all night.” He said upon bringing his lips to her neck. She found herself forgetting the slight anger that ignited within her due to the waitress. His hand made its way to her thigh, pulling up higher and higher until finding its way in the center of her thighs.

“Are you still open to anything?” He asked against her ear as she kept her eyes closed, leaned her head back, and nodded. Upon doing so, she also set down her one leg so he could gain access between her thighs. Before anything else could happen in that moment, Gia and Nico walked to Lyle and Selene with their arms all over each other. “We are gonna head out.” Nico said as Gia blushed as it was obvious as to what they were “heading out” to do. Although to be fair, it was also the only thing on Selene’s mind as well as she found herself aching for release. Both Lyle and Selene nodded to the information as they girls hugged and the boys gave each other a fist bump before parting.

“Are you ready to go?” Lyle asked as Selene nodded, trying to work up the nerve to be sexy and open to her desires. When they made it to his car, he was surprised to find her straddle him instantly and press her lips onto him. “Sorry Dino.” He joked as he flipped up the shield separating them from the driver.
