LLEWELLYN WAS IN THE office going through yet more statements when Rafferty got back. 'Anything useful come in?' he queried, as he slammed the door noisily behind him. The Welshman winced and shook his head. 'Nothing positive. None of the local taxi firms report picking up a fare at the Shells' or dropping anyone near the meadow. And, as far as Barbara Longman's car's concerned, one or two drivers on the road near the meadow mentioned noticing a red hatchback parked in that side lane where we found hers.
