The story starts in the city of Paris. 'I got up in the morning and had breakfast then I went out to work. This is my first time coming here to this town. As I have moved to this place this week. I have quit my job in the previous city. And there is a reason behind it. As I exhaled a deep sigh and started walking again through the spring-lit town. The whole place was filled with the smell of spring. As I walked through the road by the side of the pedestrian street I could see the couples walking together hand in hand. This caused an ache in my heart as this reminded me of my previous girlfriend. '' Yes, I also had a girlfriend. I am a man of twenty-two only. What can you expect ?''. While walking at a steady pace I came across a cherry tree in the middle of the road and no one had any problem with that. I just stood there watching it in admiration. '' So beautiful '' I thought. '' Come to think of it, she liked these too didn't she ?''. As you can already guess yes that is my ex-girlfriend. We only dated for one year. I had proposed to her on the previous year's valentine's day and she accepted it. After that, we started going out. It was a peaceful relationship as I never argued nor did she. Maybe that was the reason why she ended the relationship so easily. '' I didn't try to find out what she felt about me. I could not t she felt about me whether she was dating me on a whim or anything. I just went along the flow. As I was afraid of her leaving me away. I wanted someone to stay by my side even if this was a fake relationship. I wanted to believe that it was real. Cause I felt that her love was genuine. Cause no one loved me not even my parents. Yes, because they were not my real parents. I was adopted into their family as they had no one to succeed them. My real parents have died in an accident and died. When I went to the hospital to see them they were already dead. Then I had to go to the orphanage. And you can imagine what happened after it. As the wind went past me the petals filled the air. The fresh scent of cherries lingering on my nose. Suddenly the sound of someone shouting broke my attention. '' I need to go to work '' thinking about it I started walking again. '' Wish I could buy a car but I guess I don't need to as I need to as the office is around 30 minutes a walk from my house. It's not that far I guess. Meanwhile while walking I soon arrived at the office. I guess it is the one right? I am not at the wrong place. I reared up my courage and walked inside. Then I took the elevator and went up to the tenth floor. '' Where is my office? who can tell me ?'' I thought while walking. Then someone passed by me carrying some documents. '' Excuse me, can you tell me where is the sales and management department? could you be ?'' I asked. The man looked at me very strangely. Picking up his glasses from his nose he looked at me. '' Could it be? you are... Ryan Karter right ? '' asked the man. '' Who? '' I tried to find whether I have seen him or not before. '' Don't you remember about me? this is me... Spencer? did you forgot we were in the same primary ?'' he asks. I was trying to distinguish his features. Suddenly a memory pops into my head. He went back to his work. After ten minutes the CEO walked inside our department with some bodyguards following him around. We all got up seeing him. '' Boss I will show you around our department '' said a man. The CEO was a handsome guy in his middle twenties. With blond locks falling over his eyes and blue eyes with a strong build. Was way taller than me at least. '' Show me the growth chart only I need to see how well are you all working. After all, I am the CEO now. I need to see everything with my own eyes clearly '' said the man in a husky tone. '' Of course, boss, come here ''. Come here '' commands the boss. '' Yes- coming right away '' I stuttered walking towards the CEO at a steady pace. My legs were trembling a little. With my head high I looked at him. To the next department '' saying this the CEO left with his bodyguards following behind him. I was beginning to feel some sort of comfortable working here as all the people here are nice. But I could feel that I have seen the CEO somewhere before. But where I can't remember. Maybe I am imagining things or who knows? It was lunchtime I ate all alone. This was making me feel that I am new here. Hurrying up with my lunch I started working again so that I may finish early and can talk with Spencer. It's been a while since I met my old friends I was excited about it. Soon evening came by. After picking up all my things I went out of the office building. As promised, Spencer was waiting for me outside the gate. '' So, what's our plan for the day?'' I asked. '' First to the game arcade then have a meal at a restaurant and talk a lot. Then finally to a fancy bar. That's all for the day '' he replied. As a guy, Spencer was quite humorous and funny and great to get along with. He was about the same height as me. '' Let's go then, it will be my treat '. '' Thank you, Spence '''. We were walking and talking. ' I don't know the ways or roads here at all so I will be counting on you alright ?''. '' Don't worry you won't be lost as long as you are with me.
