Shirley POV
I had to restrain myself from pushing Alex in front of Peter. Alex' kiss made me feel bad for Peter, who had been helping me plan my revenge on Alex.
"See you, My sweetie," Alex said with a smile.
I returned his smile with a bitter smile. I pinched his arm, but it didn't seem to affect Alex.
Alex moved on. He gave Peter a scathing look before finally leaving my house.
"Be careful with the juice." Alex returned to warn me again, and after that, he really left.
I breathed a sigh of relief that this awkward situation was finally over. I needed time to look at Peter. In the days since I woke up at Lycan Medical, Peter hadn't come to see me. I thought he was angry and would never see me again.
"So, are you okay now?" Peter opened the conversation with a fairly mild question.
