I was silent for a while because of Alex's question. I'm not stupid. I knew that when I returned to Wolftown, I would definitely run into Alex. But I didn't expect it to be this soon, especially in my house.
"I have no reason to explain it to you," I replied casually. I did it on purpose. I wanted to know the limits of Alex's patience. How could he feel no guilt at all after slaughtering my entire family? I had to know if he was targeting me right now.
