(Shirley POV)
My hands didn't stop shaking. While my father was still sitting in front of me with his deep eyes. My lips kept closing. I didn't know how to explain. Would it be okay if I told him about Alex?
"Shirley!" Shireen cornered me. I'm sure she did it on purpose. Although she was okay, I knew she was jealous of me all along. She was the first child, but my father gave me the future Alpha position.
"Alex," I replied. I couldn't lie. I'm not good at lying. My eyes were closed. I was just preparing for my father's wrath.
"Alex Brisney?" My father tried to confirm, and I nodded.
Shireen, who was standing beside the sofa, instantly moved to sit beside me. She glared. Her gaze gave me justification.
"Are you insane?" Shireen squealed again. This time she raised her tone of voice an octave higher. "Alex Brisney? Lycan King of the Silver Lycan Pack?"
I nodded. I didn't dare make a sound at all. My heart was beating so fast. My body felt like it had been thrown off the top of a skyscraper. I was helpless. I was weak. Even though I was the future Alpha.
"Abort your pregnancy," my father said suddenly.
"Dad?" I was surprised. My father was not that kind of man. He would never tell me to do such a heinous act. "This fetus is my child. How could I abort it?"
My father stood up. He looked at me with a burning look in his eyes. He was ready to smash me to bits. I knew he was trying to contain his anger. He was disappointed in me. I was really sorry.
"The Silver Lycan Pack is the Purple Moon Pack's enemy. You know that. They're even different species from wolves like us!" Shireen spoke again. She was only making things worse.
"He is my mate!" I squealed. How could they blame me for the Moon Goddess' decision? I didn't want to have a mate in Alex Brisney, either. I also wanted to live a peaceful life without this kind of trouble.
I suddenly remembered that I had to apply for college. All of this seemed to have vanished into thin air. My father will stick to his guns.
"You can't be an Alpha," my father said.
I was surprised, but I understood his decision. Shireen smiled even though it was very faint. I knew that she had been upset that I was the future Alpha.
"I get it," I said resignedly. There was nothing I could do.
"You have to let Alex go. Don't ever see him. You have to reject him," my father said again.
"Dad, is that possible?" I asked. I felt sad. "Then what about my child? He has to have a father. I have to tell Alex about my pregnancy!"
"You want to marry him?" My father looked even angrier. While I could only close my eyes. I didn't want Alex to not know about my pregnancy.
"My child must have a father, Dad. I don't want my child to grow up without a father. Besides, I'm sure Alex will be responsible." I tried to convince my father.
"No, you cannot! If you want to hold Alex accountable. You have to leave the Pack. You must terminate your pregnancy!" My father would stand by his decision. He was a very disciplined man even though he loved me very much. He was very obedient to the rules of the Pack. Especially when it was about his enemy.
I could only silent when my father threw me out. I don't want to abort my pregnancy. I don't want this innocent fetus to be blamed for the fate that has happened.
I packed up my things. I was crying in my room when my mother-Jenny Hans, came in. She had just returned from her parents' house. She was surprised to see me packing my clothes.
"What are you doing, Sweetie?" She hugged me.
"I am sorry, Mom. But I have to go," I said with tears.
"What happened?" my mom asked me again. "Tell me, who hurt you?"
Shireen suddenly walked into my room. She smiled and crossed her arms. "Shirley had s*x with Alex Brisney during the full moon. And now she's pregnant," Shireen said.
My mom was so surprised that she looked at me. I am sure she wanted an explanation. "Is that true, Honey?"
I nodded. My tears were flowing even harder. "I am sorry, Mom. He is my mate. I couldn't control myself back then."
My mom looked worried. While Shireen waited for me.
"Hurry up and go. Dad going to see Alex!" said Shireen.
"What?" I panicked instantly. This can't be happening. My father and Alex wouldn't be able to talk calmly. They would definitely fight.
I rushed out of the room. My mom still needed an explanation, but I left her.
"Dad! Dad!" I yelled for him.
My father was about to leave our residence. I chased after him and pleaded with him.
"Please, please. Don't do anything. Don't go to her." I begged. I just didn't want a fight. It's hushed now in Wolftown. I don't want any disputes just because of me.
My father looked at me with hatred. "You're defending him?" my father said. "He stole my daughter. And you're defending her?"
"Dad, he is my child's father. Please. Don't do anything."
I'll do whatever it takes to avoid any disputes. Every pack shifter in Wolftown knows that the Silver Lycan Pack is a very powerful pack shifter. I don't want to take any chances.
"I can't forgive you, Shirley. Get away from my Pack! I don't want to think of you as my daughter. You can't return to the Purple Moon Pack, no matter what. If I see you on my territory. I will kill you!" My father said it very loudly.
My heart broke. I was expelled and not allowed to be his daughter. I could go anywhere. But I didn't want to lose my family.
"Teddy!" My mom ran from the house. She immediately hugged me. "Who said you could kick Shirley out? Don't be cruel! She's our daughter!"
My dad didn't flinch at all. Instead, he looked at my mother. He intimidated my mother.
"You are my Luna. If you don't do what I say. I can punish you. You know best that we can't be friends with Lycans," my father replied.
"Mom, don't defend me." I didn't want my mom to get into trouble. "I'll go. I can take care of myself."
Shireen carried my backpack outside. She threw it on the ground. "Pick it up and get out of here!"
"Shireen!" my mom squealed.
"You have to do what Alpha says, Mom," She said. Shireen smiled at me. She smiled because she was able to get the Alpha position after I left.
