I was very surprised to see Alex in a public area like this. I quickly sat down and lowered my head so that Alex wouldn't recognize me. But it felt futile. Alex must have recognized my body scent.
Sandra sat down and looked at me in surprise. "Why are you looking down?" Sandra asked.
"Ah, nothing. I was just looking at my shoes," I answered carelessly.
I glanced slightly at Alex. He was calm and well-mannered. He also treated Bianca with great care and tenderness. Some of the restaurant guests were whispering while watching Alex and Bianca. I looked outside the restaurant through the glass wall. Several Lycan guards were standing outside.
I wondered what if Alex and I were together. Maybe I would be in Bianca's shoes.
