Shirley POV
This was my first time out of Wolftown after my return to my birthplace. I couldn't calm down. I kept thinking about Peter. Not because I loved him but because I felt guilty. I never planned to fall in love with Alex again. This was entirely out of my plan. I was still trying to find the truth about my family's death.
As Peter said. I shouldn't have believed Alex right away. He could have been lying. But I know Alex's love for me is genuine. I'll use Alex to find out what happened five years ago.
For five hours, I was in the car. I finally arrived at Red Moon Pack territory.
"We're here, Lady Mendes," Caleb said. I actually disagreed when Alex asked Caleb to accompany me. Caleb never liked my existence. Moreover, I had made the girl he loved to get hurt.
