I leaped into him, wrapping my arms around his neck as he held my waist tightly. My tears began to pour down my cheeks in the comfort of his embrace, and I didn't want him to let go. "How did you know?" I mumbled into his shoulder. Miles ran his hand up and down my back, "I heard you yelling. I was walking by just over there," I looked up to find him pointing behind the building in which I was trapped against. I gave a sigh, leaning back on his shoulder, "Thank you." He swallowed, holding my head into his chest, "You don't have to thank me." I nodded, feeling the officer's hand on my shoulder, "I'd like you both to come down to the station to make a statement.
