Chapter 17 Dane made sure to leave enough space in Sean’s driveway to let him through to the garage and waited in the car. It didn’t take the professor long to show up, and when he did he stomped out to where Dane was waiting, trying to cool off in the winter air. “This is not okay,” said Sean, gesturing toward Dane’s car. “You waiting here like a stalker. Were you following me all morning?” “No, asshole. Just when you left Crypt Coffee. I expected you in the Lair.” “You can’t believe I’d pick up coffee and not waste a few hours with you?” asked Sean, and put a hand to the bridge of his nose. “You said you’d be over,” said Dane, angry that he practically sounded like a whiny child.
