“How’s Bow Tie settling in?” asked Sean.
Abby sat across from him and yawned. Neither of them had brought any sweets today, which was probably just as well. Abby smiled.
“It’s Double Oh Seven now,” she said. “Took him home yesterday and he’s still exploring. Didn’t hide as much as Oskar did.”
Sean was about to reply when his phone rang and he got up to answer it.
“Mr. Sanderson?” the voice on the other end asked.
“Yes?”
“Your application for Corncob has been approved. You can drop by for him whenever you want.”
