Anna's POV
I do not want to make the same mistake twice. I do not want Charlie or his family to tell me how bad I am. I push him away. I still remember the humiliation the morning everyone stormed into the miner's house and called me names. I do not want that to happen again. However, Charlie is strong. He pulls me closer to him.
