Leighton had learned manners upon accepting me.
It was not like he never had none, but he had always been someone who has a tough side. As someone who had suffered in losing his family in a span of a night, he had been nothing but locked in the pack and was forced to run it with such limited capabilities. Leighton was never used to having to accept another reason for the pack to go downhill, and yet... he had chosen to accept me.
He would only show me snippets of his emotions when it was too overpowering for him to control; only when it was too much for him to bear. There would be times that he would be affectionate, but he had never really pampered me.
