Leighton had to stretch his neck over and forth from that. It was like someone was testing his strength and ability to control himself. He did not like that one bit. People are aware that he is not good at settling things in a good way, but that had always been his wolf. Leighton would do something to do some good as he had felt bad but he was siding with his wolf with this one. Seeing the very sight that made his mate froze into her spot was the man who had kept her locked into the basement for two years and abused her.
