Mint continued staring into nothing.
She had been cooped inside Leighton’s office ever since he had arrived. There was something between them that had changed, enough that even Leighton feel like needed to see her as soon as he had arrived. As he needed to do some work, she is busy reading through some history about the duties that the Luna would take.
But once in a while, he would see her gazing through the window and into the thick flock of snow. His men had told him that Mint had walked them through the whole pack, that she was shinning amidst everything. Since she was used with heat, he thought that she would be coping hard in the place.
