Ruby POV “ OK, take one more step forwards…and stop.” I giggled with anticipation as I waited for Caspian to remove his hands from my eyes. Once he did, I squinted against the afternoon sun and blinked a few times until my eyes adjusted. We were standing on top of a mountain edge overlooking a deep quarry. Below us were figures of people moving around, sitting and chatting at tables, sparring bare fists and huge cream tents were dotted around the camp. “What is this place?” I questioned, taking it all in. There must have been over two hundred people down there. “This is home,” he whispered in my ear before coming to stand next to me and looking down. “Well, home for now anyway. We move around a lot. Sorry I had to blindfold you but our location is top secret.” He winked and I smiled.
