Ruby POV “Urgh,” I groan in frustration as yet again another spell fails to bring my mother back to life. Dad and I had been at this for the last two days and nothing was working. I first tried all the obvious healing spells that my father had attempted over the years, hoping that if it was the person who initially cast the spell performing them, it would be enough. When that failed, he made me take a break, sit in the woods, and try to recall the exact spell I had used to put her into this mysterious coma.
