I sat silently, cradling Ruby in my arms as I watched the heart-warming scene before me. Arius was covering Madeline’s body with his own as he kissed every part of her face and she chuckled through her tears. Ruby really did it. She brought her mother back to life. I glanced down at my amazing mate and felt awestruck. The power she just radiated was insane. I had never felt anything like it. It felt as though we were one as she fed from my energy. I knew as an alabaster wolf, once I marked my mate, we would be able to share that kind of power together, so I was surprised that I felt it already.
