Kelsey POV  

Things between us have been great, Adriano is so sweet he hasn’t ask for anything. He takes me to dates and buy me books every time he can, he doesn’t let me get out of the house though. He also let me call my parents last week. I had to lie told them I had a boyfriend and that I run away with him. At first they didn’t believe me, but then I told them how sweet he was and how in love I am. Mother cried for a while but then father got mad, he said he was disappointed of me. I cried as his words hurt but I got over it. Thinking I am truly happy here and even have a boyfriend and friends. Adriano doesn’t ask for me to stay in my room anymore but most days Carol and Megan a friend of hers come to stay in my room. We talk and watch movies together it feels great to al least have two friends. Also the boy I first saw when I got here is not a boy not really I mean he look so young and cute. Also he saw as short, but now after months of knowing him he has grown and I found out he is actually fourteen years old. 

“We should go to the mall,” Megan said, she is always inviting us somewhere but Adriano and Michael don’t let us go anywhere. “Megan you know my cousins won’t let us go out,” Carol whine, I giggle at her expression. She turns giving me a look so I stopped, “oh come on Carol, you can talk to them please!!” Megan begged. “Fine,” Carol grumbled she got up from my bed and walk to the door, “but if I am not back in twenty minutes, you two better start my funeral because I would be dead then.” With that she got out of my room I just hope Adriano doesn’t get too mad. 

       Adriano POV  

I am at my parents office which I use to discuss business with Michel and Jake mostly. Sometimes we even have meetings here but not today, “I heard Megan is here again.” I heard Jake speak, I hate that Megan comes too often lately, she only brings problems. She wants to get the girls out all the time I don’t see why she insists so much. I can’t just let the girls go out not when we have a lead of the Torelli Family. We have spot people of his gang near Sicily, also in America we spot a few near Los Angeles, near New York, and near Miami. We need to be smart of how we deal with this situation we can’t just have this all go down on us at the end.  

*knock knock* “come in” now to wait and see what they want this time, last time it was ice cream. In comes Carol, “hi, Adriano, Michael, Umm…. Hi Jake” is she blushing? “What is it Carol?” I wait till she starts talking, “well, you see we are bored, and we thought maybe…” “no” was my answer I turn to talk to the boys but Carol didn’t let me talk. “Adriano!! Come on, please we want to go to the mall, theirs a lot of people there nothings is going to happen, please. Do it not for me, but for Kelsey she is being in this house for months not going anywhere, Megan and I are her only friends.” I was about to say yes when she mention Megan that’s when I stopped myself. Megan’s hasn’t been friends with Carol for long. This makes me think, what if she is up to something? I don’t trust her, I can’t let Kelsey out of my sight for too long. And having her go out with someone I don’t trust doesn’t sound good to me. 

“Oh come on just let them go already, we can send some of the guys to go with them.” I turn to see Michael he nods, I nod, I feel like I will reject this, “fine you can go but four guys will go with you three.” I say not leaving any other choice “what!!? Are you crazy four guys?” “That’s if you want to go,” both Michael and I say in unison, she doesn’t say anything leaving the office. “Jake let me just make it clear this was your idea if something happens to them you will be responsible.” I say staring at Jake in the eyes I know he has some kind of crush on Carol but putting her in danger so he can be a hero doesn’t suit with me, I just hope I did the right thing. 

           Kelsey POV  

Carol came into the room screaming, and jumping, she looks excited, “they said yes!!” Megan and I jump out of the bed, I couldn’t believe what she had just said. We grab our hand bags and went out, at the front door three guys were waiting for us, “Miles is waiting in the car,” one of them said.  

As soon as we got to the mall I couldn’t believe my eyes the place is so big a lot of fancy restaurants around an the stores. I don’t know much of brands but I guess the plan was to follow the girl around. We went in and Carol immediately took my hand pulling me towards a near store. The store had so many dresses at the front, we went more towards a side of the store. There were ranks of blouses and shirt all very pretty, Carol started picking several of them. I didn’t had money so I just decided I would just watch the girls buy their things. “Come on Kelsey aren’t you picking anything? You do know my cousin give me his debit card for you to spend as much as you would like,” Carol said with a big smile on her face. I just couldn’t understand why would Adriano do that, I mean I know we are dating and living together but we haven’t gone further than kissing. Our relationship is not as serious as to have him buying clothes for me, or is it?
