AVA found it hard to eat with the man she loathed sitting across from her. The mere presence of him in the same room filled her with disgust, making her feel nauseous. Unable to bear his company any longer, she excused herself from the table, leaving her unfinished meal behind. She had reached her limit; she couldn't stand being with him another minute.
