Naomi
I settled down quick and started my work. I checked the schedule for today which was already prepared. According to the schedule, I had to get him his black coffee from the cafeteria so I took my phone and purse with me and headed to the ninth floor.
I was welcomed with coffee aroma all around the floor. Coffee had the power to give a kick start for our day. I ordered black coffee and waited for my order. I could feel whispers about me but I ignored them. I was scrolling throw my phone when my head popped towards a voice.
“Hey! I’m Gabriel” I look up to a liner guy not much older than me. I stood up and shook his hand with a smile.
“I’m Naomi. Nice to meet you” he had a gentle smile pasted in his face. He looked kind and calm.
“Pleasure is all mine. Let’s have a seat” we both seated opposite to each other. Well I guess I could make some friends here.
“I’m working in the Marketing department on the seventh floor so ever need any help I’ll be right there” he had a genuine smile which I appreciated a lot.
“Thank you so much. Well I’m working as a PA on the twelfth floor so you can come and meet me as well. At least I’ll have someone to talk to here” I saw a confused look in his face. I wanted to ask him but my order was soon called to which I excused myself and walked towards the counter.
I got his coffee and was heading towards Gabriel. He stood up with a smile. He was indeed a good looking guy. He had sharp jaw and tan skin which enhanced his blue eyes. His was wearing a cream shirt which showed his perfect chest and biceps but not better than Andrew. What the hell? Why was I comparing him to Andrew?
“It seems you gotta go. Boss won’t appreciate if he has to wait for his coffee”
He left saying that much to get his order. I was so confused. Can’t people be straight to the point when they talk? How does he know what my boss liked? Did he work for him as well and now he was promoted? Thinking about promotion I was pumped up to not be late anymore.
I headed for the elevator and got back on my floor. The building was so tall and I wonder how the city looked from the top floor. Well I was in the twelfth floor and the building consist of only thirteenth floor but still I wanted to look outside from the top most floor.
I reached soon and walked towards my boss’s cabin. I knocked to get permission. I couldn’t hear much as the voice granted me access. Finally I was about to meet my boss. I was beyond curious to know who was behind the door.
I pocked my head inside to look around the room. I could see his back which looked oddly familiar. Without thinking much I entered inside and walked towards his desk. I was speechless to see the interior of his cabin. The floor had grey color marble and the walls were painted in peach color. On the left side there were brown couch and a center table. Paintings were hung all over the room. My boss was standing towards a glass wall and looking outside. I envied him to get such a great room. The room was worth watching.
I took a deep breath and focus on delivering his coffee. “Sir your coffee” I placed his coffee on his desk and was desperately waiting for him to turn around.
To be honest I somehow had a bad feeling about all this but still I wanted to know. He was neither responding nor turning towards me.
“I’m sorry for being late sir. I’ll be careful next time” I remembered what Gabriel said. Maybe he was disappointed with me for being late.
I turned to leave with disappointment evident on my face. I didn’t wanna let down him or myself on my first day. Andrew appreciated me for being punctual and now I disappointed my boss.
“You are not supposed to apologize ever again babygirl” I froze at my place. I’m definitely in the wrong place. s**t! I screwed it.
It didn’t take me even a second to recognise his voice or the nickname. I ended up in the wrong place again. Gosh.
“I’m extremely sorry sir. I didn’t realise I’m at the wrong place. I can assure you this won’t happen again. I’m sorry Sir” I was walking towards the cup to get it back when I felt two arms cage me.
I was pulled towards his hard chest. His arms wrapped me protectively. My face my buried between his shoulder and neck, I was getting his delicious smell. He smelled of mint and lemon just like the club incident.
My arms were itching to hold him as well but I had to remind myself I was working for him. I snaked my arms towards his chest and tried to push him but he didn’t move a bit. He was inhaling my scent near my neck. His deep breathe was making me shiver and damp my panties. I was rubbing my thighs together to control those sensations.
“You did nothing wrong. You are at the right place and will remain here till I let you go” his arms feels so good that I unintentionally lay my head on his chest and breathe calmly. He definitely calmed my nerves.
Wait. What did he mean by right place? Is he talking about his cabin or his arms? I’ll prefer cabin. I didn’t want anything from him other than being his employ.
He loosened his grip on me, enough to look me in my eyes but not enough to keep space between our lips. Our lips were less than an inch away and I could feel all kind of fantasies floating inside my head. Get a grip girl.
I pushed him further and this time he did let me go. I stood awkwardly looking down without uttering any word. I was too nervous to say anything or walk away. I didn’t wanna disrespect him. He walked back to his chair and sat comfortably like a boss he is. He grabs hold of the coffee mug and took a sip. I was feeling uncomfortable standing there. His eyes never left my body which was making me more nervous.
“I hope you are aware that you are assigned as my personal assistant and your cabin is right outside my office” s**t! now it all makes sense. My suppose to be boss was Andrew. Mrs. Marshall did give me an indirect answer still I was dumb enough to not understand her reply.
“I wasn’t told directly so I assume I had someone. It was stupid of me sir. I’m sorry.” I was really disappointed with myself now. Everyone knew even Gabriel.
“You apologize again, I’ll make sure to bend you over my desk and spank you until you beg me to stop” he gave me his sinister smirk. I crossed my arms towards my chest and waited for him to say it was a joke. Nothing came from him as if silently telling me he could do what he just said.
“You won’t do that?” I questioned hoping he would say no but his smirk never left his lips. I definitely didn’t want that to happen so I drop my arms back to its place and looked down.
I wasn’t upset but I was rather uncomfortable after hearing that. Not even for once a guy approached me and now here I’m getting nicknames and weird fantasies. I just wanted to end this conversation and work to get back my composer.
“Can I leave sir?” I was fiddling with my fingers waiting for a chance to run. Even my heels hurt now. I just wanted to relax now.
He must have felt my discomfort. He looked back towards his desk and kept his coffee back. “I didn’t really mean that babygirl. I was just playing around” with that he stood up to approach me but I lifted my palms silently requesting him to stop.
He stopped where he stood and waited for my next move. I took a step back and looked dead in his eyes. “I’ll like to keep it professional sir. My name is Naomi Johnson and I feel it’s not appropriate to communicate this way” without waiting for his reply I turned back and started walking.
I really didn’t want this man around me anymore. He was screaming trouble. I didn’t wanna indulge myself with him so it’s better I walk away.
