It’s all I can do to stay outside the door when Raya goes into her room to change. Knowing that she is naked on the other side of the door, knowing that she wants me, knowing that I intend to claim her, remembering those two incredible kisses we shared earlier, not to mention Griffin’s insistent whining in my head, it all combines to make it nearly impossible to stay away.
I have kissed other women before, of course, but it has never felt like it did when my lips connected with Raya’s. Part of it is the mate bond, without a doubt, but it feels like something else too.
It feels like home.
