I tried to get Avalon to rest. Not just in body by her mind as well but she didn’t seem like she was going to stop her mind from overthinking.
I can tell from the frown she has on her face.
As much as she tried to hide that everything was okay, I knew they weren’t. And if anyone was supposed to know what was going on with her, I did. She was not okay.
I wanted her to be but right now, she wasn’t. A man was out there out to get her and I was no where close – even after promising that I would – to catching the bastard. I didn’t even know where to start from because apart from her and myself, there was no one else to tell me what they knew about him.
And then there was Sebastian who I wanted to suspect had to do with the stranger and his mission to getting to Avalon.
