There were only at least twenty-five recruits left after Noollark sent home the majority of others for not staying in their place and moving without his instruction. The beast growled at Morielle as if it held some kind of contempt for making it go away, back to its stable, since Noollark had to convince her to make the leith move. The special master trainer said it wasn’t his job to hurt the beast either but the soldiers’ ,since they were the ones who might ride it in the future.
