Don't Call Them Kids!

Alpha Netra's POV

I can't believe it in my ears. My father wants me to be my mate's bodyguard.

"Why? Why have you stopped talking now? Till now you were threatening to take me away. So what happened now? Are you scared?" Father mocked me.

"Dad, you know that I am not scared," I said calmly.

He sure is playing mind games. If I agreed with him he took the pack over again. If I denied it, he would stay here and risk his life to save some stupid human kid.

'Don't disrespect our mates like this.' Silvy said in a displeased tone.

'Don't get too attached to them. You know we can't be with them.' I warn my wolf Silvy to keep a distance between them. I can feel she was curious about our younger mates.

"Then why are you thinking so much about taking my place?" Dad's words pulled me back from my thoughts.

"I cannot leave my position and stay here as a bodyguard. You know this." I tried to make excuses.

"And you still manage to come here! You were saying that you are getting Bradly trained for the title. It means you plan to run away from your duties." Father’s voice was cold.

"I didn't plan to run away, Dad! It's called a safe plan. Bradly found his mate. He was now capable of standing in my place. It's called a safe plan. If anything happens to me, Bradly will be there to protect me." I said in a frustrated tone.

"Why do you suddenly need a safe plan? Don't tell me you were becoming a weak leak of mate." Father keeps reminding me that I'm a mateless alpha.

"Honey! Don't forget you are talking to our daughter. If she wants she can choose someone to be her chosen mate. It's easy for her because she has a title." My mother interrupted us.

"Chosen Mate! Never! I'm warning you if you find a chosen mate I'll band you together! There is no replacement of true mate.'" Sam uses so much power that he starts coughing.

"Honey, you have to stop the argument." My mother said in a word tone.

"I just..." Father tried to say. In front of Mom, he always becomes submissive. This power of mate bond.

"You're just wasting my time, Dad. Don't forget you are injured here. And about my mate. Well, we can have a proper discussion when we go back." I said calmly.

"Fine. Tell me what's your decision on this? Are ready to be bodyguards of three price. If not then you leave." My father was the most stubborn person like me. He won't leave until I give him the answer that I want.

'Say yes. We will get a chance to know the mates more.' Silvy suggests it to me.

'We don't need to know these kids.' I was so frustrated.

'Don't call them kids. All three of them are above fifteen years of age. And according to Wolf's law, fifteen years of age is legal for mating.' Silvy argues back.

'First, we are not going to mate with them. Secondly, all three of them are humans. According to their law, children above eighteen years of age are legal. Now stop arguing with me and let me settle the matter here. Then we will think what to do next.' I snapped at Silvy, a little angry.

'But if you don't agree with father now, he will call Bradly here or he himself will become the bodyguard again. Which will be fatal for both of them. There must be someone more powerful than father who attacked him. And no human dared to touch him. Because humans don't know that my parents are werewolves. 'Your words make sense. They definitely tried hard to kill Dad.' I agreed with Silvy. I really need to keep my family away from these stupid humans.

"What did you want? You have everything." Dad looked confused.

"There is no need for this." A sexy deep voice interrupts us.

F*ck! Is this his real voice? So deep. Not suitable for his younger face. I can't help but look at him. The old guy behind pushed his wheelchair forward close to the Bed. Looking at his clothes he must be his servant.

'I want to hear his voice calling our name.' Silvy comment impressed the tone.

'We forgot that this is all about this.' Dad now uses a mind link. After we argue in front of humans.

'You remembered very quickly, honey.' Mom teased him.

'Let's see what he wants to say to me.' I said before closing the mind link.

Mom and Dad nodded their heads lightly.

"Uncle Sam, you go with your daughter. She doesn't need to be a bodyguard. I can't allow a girl to be a bodyguard. We will find another bodyguard. You don't need to worry us." He said sweet words. But why do I feel he was pity on me because I'm a female?

"You mean to say that I can't be a bodyguard?" I asked irritably.
