"Can't you pretend its Tuesday and not Thursday?" Zeph begged in my ear as we walked down the hall to the dining room. All morning I've been nervous about it being Thursday, Ajax's day, butterflies fluttering in my gut at what was awaiting tonight. Ajax scared me and because of that, we've had little contact and now we'd be spending the entire day together. It'll be alright, Serene, it's only for one day.
