Summer’s POV
I lie in bed staring out of the window at the beautiful lake which shimmers and sparkles under the light of the moon.
Goddess it really is beautifully calm out here.
The scents, the peace and quiet, the cozy feel of the cabin. It really is the most perfect place to be.
I take a deep breath and pull the sheets up to my neck as I think back over the day as a whole. So much has happened that it’s a little overwhelming to comprehend.
Suddenly I have this group of amazing friends, who are about to wage war in my name. They are literally about to put themselves in harms way, for me. Not to mention the f*****g super warrior skills that I seemed to unlock today… it’s a lot.
Yet despite all of this, despite all of the craziness, I had a great time… I had fun.
